Reacting to these probable events allows the U.S. Government to subtly influence the outcomes favorably. Moreover, the Department of Future ensures that the average American will go through life unaware of the future and the horrors it might bring.
As time continues forward, the Department of Future will be there in advance to maintain sanity and order where there would have been chaos.
